the middle of a REM cycle, the women of the UW crew
team are getting ready for hours of intense practice on
the ice-cold water of Lake Washington. Starting with
brief warmups, head women’s crew coach and director
of rowing Bob Ernst puts his team through rigorous
workouts.
Presently, the UW women’s crew team is No. 7 in the
nation and is preparing to compete in the prestigious
Windermere Cup May 7 on the Montlake Cut.
