In between bites of turkey and leftovers, you can check out the forthcoming December edition of the Notebook. It’s focused on teachers and reform, and we’ve already posted a low-res PDF of the full edition and a few stories.
Like so much of the education world, “Waiting for ‘Superman’” got us talking. A lot.
In this edition we explore the issues surrounding teachers, evaluation, unions, and other facets of a profession that is critical for our communities and country, but is not held in high esteem. We hope our multi-faceted look at this topic will help broaden the discussions arising from the film, and counter harmful myths.
On Dec. 1 please join us and the Teacher Action Group for a screening of “A Community Concern,” a powerful counterpoint to “Superman.”
