The numbers are in and Beaverton School District Superintendent Jerry Colonna finished his final year with a salary of $194,000, but a total compensation package of $303,900.
Jerry ColonnaColonna, who retired July 1, did not receive a severance package, but did get about $6,300 for vacation days he didn’t take. The total includes everything: 403-b contribution, mileage, administrative stipend, cell phone, social security, retirement and health insurance. (The administrative stipend was $100).
Jeff RoseThe district’s new superintendent, Jeff Rose, will make $185,000 in salary with a total compensation of about $275,000, including health insurance, 403(b) contribution of $15,000 a year, retirement, monthly travel stipend, social security and cell phone.
Beaverton is the third largest school district in the state. The superintendent works a full year, oversees more than 4,000 employees and is responsible for about 39,000 students.
